Magni aka Magni Ásgeirsson is an Icelandic singer, songwriter, and musician who has gained international fame as one of the top three finalists on the USA television show Rock Star: Supernova, and as frontman for the gold album selling Icelandic band Á Móti Sól.

Now Magni has released his new, self-titled album on Spectra Records. The new album features hits like “Addicted” with its dramatic buildup, climaxing vocals and guitar riffs, “Play With Me,” which imagines the possibility of an ideal world through Magni’s inspiring voice, and “The Dolphin’s Cry” which highlights Magni’s soulfulness and encourages crowd participation during its live performance.

Magni has also just recorded a new song entitled I Love It Loud which will be appearing on the upcoming KISS tribute album, Shout It Out Loud.

The album Magni is currently available at retailers nationwide, and his USA tour is being planned for 2012.
