Jim McGorman is an American singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist well known for his work as Musical Director for the likes of Avril Lavigne, Weezer, Michelle Branch and Paul Stanley, as well as performances on the recent X-Factor first season final, and numerous award shows.

Jim McGorman is a professional musician who has worked with a diverse group of talents. He holds a degree in production and engineering from the prestigious Berklee College of Music and is a multi-instrumentalist who plays piano, guitar, bass, and drums. Jim McGorman’s discography includes Miley Cyrus, Shakira, Avril Lavigne, Aaron Neville, and Kate Voegle albums to name a few. McGorman has also performed on nearly every major U.S. television talk / entertainment show including The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Saturday Night Live, The Late Show with David Letterman, The Late Late Show w/ Craig Ferguson, Regis and Kelly, The Carson Daly Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and Dancing with the Stars.
