Mr Hush on The Jimmy Star Show

Fort Lauderdale, FL – August 29, 2011 - Writer and director Dave Madison and producer Thomas Churchill will be featured guests on The Jimmy Star Show live radio show hosted by King of Cool, Jimmy Star along with his Cool Crowd of cohosts to discuss their Mr Hush film, their filmmaking careers, and all things art and entertainment. The Jimmy Star Show is radio’s newest hit show, featuring the coolest in music, entertainment, fashion and pop culture, all from a fun industry insider perspective in a completely live, unedited fast-paced two-hour conversational format.

David Lee Madison and Thomas Churchill are American filmmakers who have teamed up on two films, Emerging Past, which was directed by Churchill, and now Mr. Hush, directed by Madison. Mr. Hush is an independent horror film which follows the story of husband and loving father Holland Price who is targeted by evil and darkness over his lifespan. Mr. Hush stars Brad Loree (Halloween:Resurrection) as Holland Price, with Steve Dash (Friday the 13th Part II), Steven Geoffreys (Fright Night) and Edward X. Young (Sea of Dust).

Filmmaker Dave Madison developed his love for film as a very young man. At the age of five, he had already seen and loved all of the original Universal horror films. He got his first taste of filmmaking at age nine, when he was an extra in Hero at Large, a John Ritter film directed by Martin Davidson. Throughout his teen years, he acted in Neil Simon’s Brighton Beach Memoirs and James Lemmo’s Heart starring Brad Davis. As a filmmaker, Dave continues to act, and in his teaming with Thomas Churchill, appears alongside his childhood idol, Stephen Geoffreys (976-Evil), in a very funny scene. His most recent endeavor, Mr. Hush, which he wrote, produced, and directed, is largely inspired by the favorite films of his youth. Mr Hush has secured a limited theatrical release and has many in the horror community abuzz.

Filmmaker Thomas Churchill is best known for writing, directing, and producing the “horrific twisted psycho-thriller rollercoaster ride of terror” independent film Emerging Past. Named Best Horror Feature at the New York City International Film Festival, winning Best Actor for Brooke McCarter‘s (Lost Boys) performance at the Spooky Empire Freak Show Film Festival, and winning Best Song for the official film soundtrack’s song Mud by Katie DiCicco. Thomas Churchill produced Mr. Hush, and as an actor as well, appears in the film as “Sheriff Churchill”.
