Shayne Leighton on The Jimmy Star Show

Shayne Leighton is perhaps best known as a performing arts prodigy as writer, co-director and star of the S.M.ir.K. Entertainment feature film The Incubus. The independent dark romance film garnered much media attention with its successful release in theaters as Shayne wrote it while in high school in Florida, USA. Leighton, a successful pop singer also had several songs appear on the film soundtrack.

Shayne Leighton’s newest work, her novel Of Light and Darkness: The Vampire’s Daughter has just released in paperback as published by Decadent Publishing. The book is a young adult vampire fantasy novel set in the modern-day Czech Republic and will be the first in a series of five and will be the topic of a new movie. With the conclusions of many popular teen fantasy series such as Harry Potter and Twilight, Leighton thinks it is time to introduce audiences to a whole new cast of characters and creatures. Shayne Leighton is about to embark on a book signing tour for Of Light and Darkness beginning with her upcoming opening signing at Barnes and Nobles in Palm Beach, Florida.

Shayne’s other projects include writing several screenplays, with one called Masque which is a retelling of the classic Phantom of the Opera, and acting in the fantasy action film, Legend of the Red Reaper.
