Down Theory is an American rock band hailing from Jacksonville, Florida famous for having no two songs sound alike. Down Theory fuses an eclectic combination of hard rock, punk, funk and modern rock with a driving, positive attitude. As such Down Theory songs been featured on numerous numerous television sports broadcasts and they have been the house band for The Tom McManus Show sports show.

Down Theory is Nick Lee on vocals, Matt “Mathmatical” Hall on lead guitar, Scott King on drums, and Derrick “D-Rok” Gilrie on bass. Down Theory’s debut album is entitled Invisible Empire and has been released on Spectra Records. Invisible Empire is now available at national retailers. In support of Invisible Empire, Down Theory has been touring and has shared the stage with acts Papa Roach, Buckcherry, Hinder, Puddle of Mudd, My Darkest Days, Art of Dying, 30 Seconds to Mars, Blue October, and Seether.
