Dan Holguin is an American alternative pop artist. Dan Holguin was built for music. From his earliest years, he was harmonizing with songs on the radio or mimicking the choreography to the latest Madonna or Michael Jackson video. School was a challenge, but high school choir finally gave him the chance to showcase himself as he wanted to. He was full of ideas and anxious to use them. After high school, Dan became interested in singers and songwriters such as Jewel, Sheryl Crow and the Stone Temple Pilots. Artists such as these, gave him the idea to begin writing his own songs, learn a few instruments, and move to Los Angeles to begin a music career.

It wasn’t until 2008, that a friend suggested he find a band rather than continuing solo. Dan did just that, and in 2009, he began to play some of the greatest stages in LA, including the Viper Room, the Whisky A-Go-Go, and the El Rey Theater. Such exposure led him to meet producer Deyder Cintron who helped him to begin recording. They worked long and hard to make sure that each track was refined to perfection, and Dan Holguin’s first single, Now I Only, has been released to great reviews. In support of his EP, Dan Holguin has been touring extensively to include performing with Cassidy Haley.
