Scarecrow band frontman John Blaze will be a featured guest on The Jimmy Star Show live radio show hosted by King of Cool, Jimmy Star along with his Cool Crowd of cohosts to discuss the new album, his career, music and all things art and entertainment. John Blaze is an American vocalist, songwriter and producer. As lead singer and founder of the New York Tri-State hard rock band Swift Kick, John Blaze gained local recognition at an early age for his unique and powerful voice. John Blaze has lead a successful career as a recording and touring artist, as well as a behind the scenes contributer to the recording industry for over 20 years.

The Scarecrow band was founded in the mid-eighties by vocalist John Blaze and guitarist Eddie Ojeda from Twisted Sister. Scarecrow started off in the right direction with mega rock producer Tom Werman of Motley Crue fame behind them. The Scarecrow band went on to record 2 full length LP’s and climbed the heavy metal rock charts posted by Concrete Marketing. Scarecrow’s CDs are still played in Germany, England and Japan and the act is still alive and well on Spectra Records, represented by Globe Entertainment.

Scarecrow has just offered a special release of their new album, Blood, Sweat, and 20 Years, just in time for Halloween exclusively available at online retailers (iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody). The new single off Blood, Sweat and 20 Years is the sweeping rock ballad No Place Like Home. The album will officially release to retailers nationwide in early 2012.
