Cool Cannot Be Copied
August 3, 2011 in Cool Is Real Spotlight, Spotlight Feature by Jimmy Star Entertainment

As mentioned in our previous Cool spotlight, at Jimmy Star Entertainment, Cool is our life, and our specialty when it comes to publicity, promotions, consulting and management. We define cool as a concept that incorporates ideas of personal individuation, refined quality, simple pleasure, social consciousness, practical longevity, upscale aesthetic, and real accountability.
And just as we mentioned that cool cannot be faked, it is also true that cool cannot be copied. Cool involves creativity, originality, and most of all taking a personal stance or position. The idea that one could copy coolness is analogous to the idea of trying to use plastic surgery to become someone else. One could somewhat replicate the outside of the person, but no way, no how could one replicate all the thoughts, ideas, feelings and life experiences that make that person them. Besides, as one tries to copy a cool idea or cool product or cool anything, one is already behind the times, living in the shadow of another, and that is definitely not cool.
Coolness is a way of thinking and a way of life. Coolness is a package deal, and just copying one cool idea or attribute is not going to cut in the long run. Cool is self-generated and self-fulfilled as a requirement. Cool often takes moxy, as the world at large often demands thoughtless conformity. Cool is not for the weak of constitution. Cool is bold.
At Jimmy Star Entertainment, we offer many ways to jumpstart you to manifest your own coolness, and the coolness of your projects, products, and companies. Cool is fun and fun is cool, and we offer many easy problem-solving tips to maintain and expand coolness in the face of adversity and an often dull social climate.
