Grown Up Avenger Stuff will be a featured guest on The Jimmy Star Show live radio show hosted by King of Cool, Jimmy Star along with his Cool Crowd of cohosts to discuss their current release Disagreements With Gravity. Grown Up Avenger Stuff is a rock band from Charlotte, North Carolina. Lead singer Deirdre Kroener brings both soft pretty and edgy power vocal performance to drive the band’s unique sound which is loosely based on the standard garage power group style with a sprinkle of punk, a touch of glam, a slice of metal, a bucket of energy, and often building into a tower of volume. Grown Up Avenger Stuff is Deirdre Kroener on Vocals (Selected Best Female Vocalist – 2010, Charlotte Creative Loafing), Mister Black on Percussion, Hunter Thomsen on Bass, and John Thomsen on Guitar.

Landing somewhere between the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Queens of the Stone Age, Grown Up Avenger Stuff has been together and playing live shows since Feb, 2009. With over 100 appearances under their belt in 16 months, they snagged a record deal with Spectra Records. Their resulting debut album entitled Disagreements With Gravity is now released and available at online and instore retailers nationwide.

Grown Up Avenger Stuff is currently on tour in support of Disagreements With Gravity, and recently recorded a cover of the Beatles’ I Want To Hold Your Hand for the upcoming Beatles tribute album, Revolution: A Tribute to The Beatles.
