We teach that the result of this kind of focus is being highly talented, highly skilled, and highly functional. This is in sharp contrast to ideas of cool as being associated with slackers, dodgers, and loafers. We often say the popular idea of an “overnight success” in entertainment (or any field) is really misguided, as most successful people will tell you they’ve been very invested, dedicated, and productive over time in order to reach their goals. At Jimmy Star Entertainment, we ourselves have a long history of success that was concertedly built brick by brick, step by step, over 25 years.
