Ashlynn Yennie is an American actress known internationally for her highly acclaimed starring performances in the controversial films The Human Centipede (First Sequence) and The Human Centipede II (Full Sequence).

Ashlynn Yennie is originally from Riverton, Wyoming, and is the youngest of three sisters. At the age of 4, Yennie was in her first play called Goosey Loosey and played the leading role of “Goosey Loosey”. Yennie is also a dancer, and at the age of 13 she was nominated for “Best Dancer in Wyoming.” Yennie enjoys all forms of dancing and when she was a teenager, she studied celtic, jazz, tap, lyrical and belly dancing. At the age of 19, Yennie moved to New York City to attend the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Art. Ashlynn Yennie is a television, film, and theatre actress.

Ashlynn Yennie played “Jenny” in director and writer Tom Six‘s The Human Centipede (First Sequence) alongside Ashley C. Williams, Akihiro Kitamura and Dieter Laser. She then played herself as the actress cast as “Jenny” alongside Laurence R. Harvey in Tom Six’s self-aware second installment (Full Sequence). The well-crafted Human Centipede films were produced by Tom Six and Ilona Six and involve the idea of individuals pursuing an intense fantasy to connect people surgically via their gastric systems to form a human centipede. Ashlynn Yennie has been commended on the reality of her performances, especially when much of her screen time she is not able to speak. The films have polarized audiences, receiving rave reviews and critical acclaim as well as intense scorn and disdain, causing quite the media frenzy. The sequel was banned in the UK for a time although it is now available in the UK as well as the US. The films are already an art and cult classic in the United States, with Tom Six’s work being compared to notable and highly intellectual directors.
